This is one of my sketches from a Figure drawing session I did in April at a place called Get the Lead Out. The theme was Heavy Metal. For what ever reason my mind thought it was going to be more Mad Max, but this look worked great to, especially because i been drawing girls with swords on my own anyways. This particular pose I believe was 10 minutes (might have been a little longer) I spent some time on it after I got home, and cleaned it up some because i enjoyed the pose. I really have been enjoying going to themed figure drawing latley, it seems to help out the models come up( or feel comfortable) with poses that aren't text book class room figure drawing, witch at this point I feel like i have drawn so many of those poses in the past 15 years.
